ROCK GATE PHOTOS

  a closer view
Here is a closer view of how the rocks are affixed and the finishes that make up the piece. The sweeping pieces in the middle are painted black with a bronze fought finish. The frame and screen are buffed raw steel with a gun metal black patina applied to color the steel. Then the piece is sealed with a satin lacquer paint.

Here is a close up of one of the handles which are rocks with forged metal bands. The mechanism was crafted completely from scratch to fit inside the tube frame.
